All rates are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) on a per-night, per-property basis and include 15% Goods and Services Tax (GST). All other transactions are also processed in NZD and include GST.

Reservations

Age Requirement

Guests making a reservation must be at least 18 years old.

Payment

All bookings must be secured with a valid credit or debit card.

A deposit of 20% of the total reservation amount will be charged at the time of booking.

The remaining balance will be automatically charged 30 to 60 days prior to check-in.

Bank transfer is also available if required. Any bank fees are the responsibility of the guest. Please ensure your bank includes all sending and receiving transfer fees.

Security Deposit

To ensure a safe and secure experience for both guests and property owners, a small damage-waiver fee is required. This fee is processed through our trusted third-party provider, Truvi, and provides protection of up to 350 NZD for accidental damage during your stay. Please notify us immediately if any accidental damage or breakage occurs so we can address it promptly.

Depending on the length of stay and the property, a refundable bond may also be required.

Damage caused by negligence, misuse, or disrespect of the property will be charged accordingly.

Liability

Stay Luxe is not liable for:

• Loss or damage to guest belongings

• Events beyond our control, including severe weather, natural disasters, or other unforeseen incidents

Cancellation & Refund Policy

All cancellation and refund terms are subject to the conditions outlined in the individual property listing.

Arrival and Departure Times

Check-in is available any time after 3:00 PM.

Check-out must be completed before 10:00 AM.

Check-in instructions will be issued 48 hours prior to arrival.

Guest Responsibilities

During your stay, you agree to:

• Use the property solely for short-term accommodation, with no more guests than stated in your booking

• Keep the property clean, tidy, and secure

• Follow all provided rules and requirements

• Immediately report any issues, damages, or faults

• Supervise children at all times

• Allow access for maintenance or inspections when required

Guests must not:

• Host events, parties, or large gatherings of any kind, including pre-ball, after-ball, hen, or stag events

• Smoke or vape indoors or anywhere on the property

• Bring pets without prior written approval

• Move furniture without permission

• Engage in illegal activities

• Create excessive noise or disturb neighbours, especially between 09:00 PM and 7:00 AM

Breaching these policies may result in eviction and additional charges.

If smoking or vaping is detected, cleaning and deodorisation fees from 800 NZD will apply.

Noise disturbances may incur a 500 NZD call-out fee.

Amendments to Bookings

Any request to amend a booking must be submitted in writing as soon as possible to email: [email protected].

Approval is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Additional charges may apply.

Relocation or Cancellation by Stay Luxe

In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as emergency repairs, property owner withdrawal, or events beyond our controls, Stay Luxe reserves the right to:

• Relocate guests to a suitable alternative property, or

• Cancel the booking and issue a full refund

Stay Luxe is not responsible for any additional expenses or consequential losses incurred by the guest.

Confirmation of Booking

A booking is confirmed once the required payment has been received and these Terms & Conditions have been accepted.

A booking confirmation will then be issued with all relevant arrival details.
