Having developed a deep understanding of the luxury short-term rental market through 12 years of hands-on experience, founders Scott Unsworth and Greg Owen identified an opportunity to elevate the standard of high-end accommodation in Auckland. With decades of international business success, Scott brings elite-level expertise to the luxury accommodation market. As the founder of Orca, the world's leading triathlon brand, Scott has mastered crafting premium experiences that resonate with discerning clientele. This expertise drives Stay Luxe's ability to deliver exceptional returns while creating unforgettable guest experiences. Having personally developed and converted numerous properties into thriving short-term rentals, Scott brings both passion and proven expertise to maximising property potential. Beyond his business ventures, Scott finds his greatest joy in life with his beautiful wife and two daughters.
Greg Owen
Director / Co-founder
Greg brings 20+ years of experience working with Olympic and professional athletes. Drawing on this elite performance background, he has spent the last decade becoming one of NZ's leading short-term rental specialists. Greg thrives on building genuine relationships with property owners, expertly positioning their homes to attract affluent travellers and maximise returns. The same performance mindset that guided his sports career now drives his marathon training, where he's always chasing his next personal best. Above all, Greg is a devoted father to three beautiful girls.

Director of Operations
Catherine brings extensive experience from her work with non-profit organisations. As Director of Operations, she leads a dedicated team while staying true to her warm, relational approach, building lasting connections with property partners and ensuring they feel informed and valued. Her leadership brings calm and consistency to day-to-day management, delivering exceptional service to both partners and guests.

Finance Director
Hildegard brings extensive expertise in finance and strategic business management. As a key leader in Orca’s rise to become a global triathlon brand, she oversaw financial operations with precision and vision. At Stay Luxe, Hildegard ensures property owners maximise returns while maintaining exceptional service and care, setting a new standard in luxury property management.

What is your cancelation policy?
All cancellation and refund terms are subject to the conditions outlined in the individual property listing.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in starts from 3:00pm
Check-out time is 10:00am
Can I request an early check-in or late check-out?
You may request an early check-in or late check-out and if the property is available we will do our best to accommodate.
Are parties allowed?
We have zero tolerance for parties. If one is reported we unfortunately have to call local law enforcement immediately and you will forfeit your bond.
Can I smoke or vape in the home?
Please no smoking or vaping in the home or on the property. If we detect the home has been smoked in you will forfeit your bond.
Are there any cameras at the property?
There are no cameras inside for the privacy of our guests. However, some of our properties do have external cameras for extra security and for the protection of the property.
How do I request the additional experiences?
Once you have made a reservation you will be sent an online check-in form where you can book the additional experiences. Alternatively you can contact us at any time to book an experience.
